Briana Stephen

I had an epiphany today while sitting in the oncologist's office. There's so much talk and paraphernalia about finding cures for cancer. There's bitter talk about why Heavenly Father would allow such suffering. I sat there thinking to myself, No. My heart tells me it's not like that at all! ... Think of the communities and families that have come together to love, serve, and mourn with one another.

Our Father in heaven provides opportunities every day for us to keep his commandments, to follow His ultimate example of serving, loving, caring for His spirit children, our spirit brothers and sisters. I get to experience firsthand on a daily basis how beautiful the hearts of mankind really are.

Turn off the news of contentious politics, crime, and adultery for a bit. You'll find a world of compassion. PLEASE ACCEPT MY GRATITUDE to all those who uplift and show me what leading a Christ-like life is really all about. Loads and loads of LOVE!!!

Thank You ... Again!

Recently we have had many people inquire as to how they can financially give to help Briana and her medical needs.  An account has been established if someone wishes to donate or contribute in this way.  I was hesitant to place such a posting as this is not a solicitation for funds but rather a place to where we can refer people when information is requested.

Bank:: Wells Fargo
Acct #:: 6175041471

The support in so many ways continues to pour in.  Between meals, cards, flowers, and so much more, we are continually uplifted.  Contrary to what anyone might share, there is much good in the world today, and much has come to us through complete strangers.  Many friends from my old company at Takeda recently rallied together to help our family and that was a special thing for us.  Thank you so much!

  1. I completely agree that there are so many wonderful people out there. We have also been the recipient of so much love these past few weeks. We couldn't believe how many people that we didn't know that came to Rheese's funeral. There may be a lot of wickedness in the world but thankfully there is so much righteousness too.
