Briana Stephen

I had an epiphany today while sitting in the oncologist's office. There's so much talk and paraphernalia about finding cures for cancer. There's bitter talk about why Heavenly Father would allow such suffering. I sat there thinking to myself, No. My heart tells me it's not like that at all! ... Think of the communities and families that have come together to love, serve, and mourn with one another.

Our Father in heaven provides opportunities every day for us to keep his commandments, to follow His ultimate example of serving, loving, caring for His spirit children, our spirit brothers and sisters. I get to experience firsthand on a daily basis how beautiful the hearts of mankind really are.

Turn off the news of contentious politics, crime, and adultery for a bit. You'll find a world of compassion. PLEASE ACCEPT MY GRATITUDE to all those who uplift and show me what leading a Christ-like life is really all about. Loads and loads of LOVE!!!

Boulter Family Reunion

Aunt Roy Roy did a great job of putting together our inaugural Boulter Family Reunion. It'll be great to have Rexene and Jim there next year, and hopefully the rest of our family. April had some excuse of being pregnant, Nate was busy with work, Tiff was in school, and Serena missed too much work for her wedding. Excuses, excuses! :)Next August will be even better when not so many are absent, even though Trevor and Tyler will be on their missions in Peru. Alright, so mark your calendars, family. Next August 6,7 & 8th! Grandma and me. Heather and Kami trying to pop a balloon. Not so successful, but was hilarious to watch. Kade and Dallin trying to pop a balloon together. Hopefully these two will become good buds. Not too many cousins our kids' ages. Between baby Brielle and Roy Roy's dogs, Leyna always had her hands full. I just love Aunt Kim's expression in this photo! Kaden wearing the remains of the Llama pinata. Our aunts and uncle are so much fun! Grandma & grandkids Jenny's hubby teaching the men a masculine, Samoan dance. So fun to watch. Ballon stomp! Kaden won by hiding behind a tree during the stomp, then appearing at the end. Tiff, were you teaching my son some of your cheating ways while he was visiting? j/k
